Should we start a media service?

Since year 2008 when this project was just in our minds we were thinking of starting our media service like YouTube. In 2009 we stopped dreaming about competing with the corporation of dark forces and started working at our file hosting.

Today @ the 15th meeting of GOUNDERGROUND we decided to try again and see what is going to happen. We know we need big servers and bad ass network line but it does worth trying because this time we are not going to compete anyone we are going to provide a good service which will be fresh and fast. We are not going to prove people we can be better then YouTube as we don't want to be better. We admit YouTube is the best video hosting ever in the net and will remain especially when it starts using HTML5 video player instead of Adobe Flash.

And here we go! We start developing a new project under the name of uvio.net and let's see what it's going to be like..

Okay lets be honest we all were sceptic about PayPal and E-gold ten years ago and now I know why we were so sceptic about E-gold. But PP proved on-line banks and financial systems can and have to exist. How many customers today use online banking and on-line payment systems? The answer is millions! GOUNDERGROUND plans for 2011

Last twelve month were long months and awarded us with a lot of work, problems and stress. We hope 2011 will be a better year and we can launch all our ideas and projects on the net. We prepared a little list of projects we are currently working at and are going to launch in the end of 2010 beginning 2011.

Let's see what is expecting us in the next few months.

1. The International Lottery

We are working at the free world-wide lottery system which will not just let users play and win real money jackpots but also let web developers register their own lotteries. TIL will remind you some famous social networks because of the support of own developed lottery applications.

2. Playcash

We are also working at the free market system that will allow it's users to buy/sell virtual currencies. Real market it coming in Jan-Feb 2011.

3. FIGHT CLUB

Yes yes! No jokes! We are launching a fight club which is a game :) More info on it later and not from me but the head developer of the project. A few comments from me: this is a bomb as it's real time on-line 3d and users have full access to the worlds views. What I mean by this is get a place, build army, attack other groups, attack governments, explode buildings and rob. No further comments.

Release date: middle of 2011

This is our little list and there is also a few surprises but we prefer not to comments them now.
